Roles in your Applaud tenant control what your users can and can't see and can and can't do in your tenant. Your tenant comes with several default roles:
These default roles determine the admin pages they can open, and you can use them in your model's access control policies to control other data you add. Of course, you can also do this with any new custom roles you add.
Custom roles define the levels of access that you want within your organization. For example, you could create a role called "Employee" that only has access to submit an expense claim or holiday request.
So after you create your role, you would need to open the model you want the role to have access to and add it to the model's access control policies:
You can see a list of models and what access a role has on the Role access controlĀ page, but you can't change the access here. Instead, you must open the specific model to change the policy.
You can assign as many users as you want to a role.
