When you connect SharePoint to Applaud, synchronized content remains isolated within your Applaud tenant. Each tenant has its own SharePoint connection, synchronized content, and knowledge index.
Content synchronized from your SharePoint sites is available only within your tenant and isn't shared with other Applaud customers.
How tenant isolation works
Tenant isolation ensures that:
- SharePoint content is synchronized only into your Applaud tenant.
- Knowledge created from synchronized SharePoint content is available only within your organization.
- The AI Assistant answers questions using only the knowledge available in your tenant.
- Knowledge search returns results only from your tenant's available content.
Applaud uses the Microsoft connection configured for your tenant. Employees can't access SharePoint content from another organization's Microsoft 365 tenant through the SharePoint knowledge connector.
