Changing the owner of an article might be necessary for several reasons. When team members get new jobs, leave the company, or take on different tasks, ensuring the right person is responsible for keeping important content up-to-date is important.
You can only change the owner of the articles you have written.
Procedure
- From the main burger bar menu, select KNOWLEDGE OWNER to expand the menu and select My Knowledge.
- From one of the lists, select the article you want to change ownership of.
- In the Owner box, select CHANGE.
- In the Change Knowledge owner dialog box from the New owner list, select the name of the person you want to be the new owner of the knowledge article and select SAVE.
