In Applaud Cloud, the term user provisioning refers to the automatic creation, management, and maintenance of user identities and the management of user rights and privileges.
Once you set up single sign-on, your users can provision themselves by signing into the platform via single sign-on. This will then automatically create an entry in the user model, where you can set up workflows to automate tasks such as assigning roles like Employee and Manager.

Establishing your single sign-on provider
To enable employees to make the most of the Applaud experience, we support any single sign-on solution that works with OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, or JWT. Allowing for easy integration with Okta, OneLogin, Azure AD, and most SSO providers.
Enabling single sign-on not only improves enterprise security but improves usability for employees. Employees tend to use the same password on multiple accounts, meaning if a hacker can access one account, they will likely succeed in accessing them all. Single sign-on minimizes this risk while offering the user access with the click of a button.
The Applaud mobile app also supports biometric sign-in: Face ID, Touch ID, and Android fingerprint, enabling simple sign-in while ensuring the highest levels of security.
