Connect SharePoint sites to the SharePoint knowledge connector to synchronize their content with your Applaud knowledge base.
Before you begin
Make sure that:
- You have Tenant Administrator permissions in Applaud.
- The SharePoint knowledge connector is enabled.
- You've completed the Microsoft authentication setup.
- Your Microsoft 365 account has access to the SharePoint sites you want to connect.
- Your subscription has available site capacity.

Connect SharePoint sites
- From Applaud admin, select Knowledge integration.
- Under Knowledge connectors, select SharePoint.
- Select Add sites.
- Search for a SharePoint site by name, or paste a SharePoint site URL.
- Select one or more sites to connect.
- Review the site counter to confirm your selection is within your subscription limit.
- Select Save.
Applaud adds the selected sites and starts an initial synchronization in the background.
Verify the connection
After you save your changes:
- The selected sites appear on the SharePoint connector page.
- Each site displays its current synchronization status.
- After the initial synchronization completes, the site status changes to Active.
- You can select a connected site to open it in SharePoint.
