Configure the SharePoint knowledge connector to allow Applaud to access your Microsoft SharePoint environment. After the connection is configured, you can connect SharePoint sites and synchronize their content.
Before you begin
Make sure that:
- You have Product Administrator or Tenant Administrator permissions in Applaud.
- You've completed the Microsoft authentication setup, including administrator consent.
- Your Microsoft 365 account has access to the SharePoint environment you want to connect.
- Your subscription has available SharePoint site capacity.

Connector status
The SharePoint knowledge connector displays one of the following statuses.
| Status | Description |
| Available | The connector is available in your tenant, but Microsoft authentication hasn't been completed. |
| Connect | Microsoft authentication is complete, and the connector is ready to be configured. |
| Enabled | The connection has been configured successfully, and SharePoint sites can be connected. |
Configure the connection
- From Applaud admin, select Knowledge integration.
- Under Knowledge connectors, locate SharePoint.
- Confirm that the connector status is Connect.
- Select SharePoint.
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
- Review the requested permissions and select Accept to authorize the connection.
Verify the connection
After the connection is configured:
- The SharePoint connector displays a status of Enabled.
- The connector is ready for you to connect SharePoint sites.
