When you connect SharePoint sites to Applaud, the SharePoint knowledge connector synchronizes supported content into your Applaud knowledge base. Only content that synchronizes and indexes successfully becomes available to employees through knowledge search and the AI Assistant.
Supported content
The SharePoint knowledge connector synchronizes content from:
- Connected SharePoint sites
- Document libraries within connected sites
- Files that complete synchronization successfully.
During synchronization, Applaud creates knowledge from supported SharePoint content and makes it available in your knowledge base.
Content eligibility
Connecting a SharePoint site doesn't guarantee that every file becomes available in your knowledge base.
Applaud synchronizes content when:
- The SharePoint site is connected.
- Synchronization completes successfully.
- The content meets eligibility requirements.
- The content passes malware scanning.
- The content is indexed successfully.
Applaud doesn't synchronize content if:
- The SharePoint site is disconnected, or synchronization is still in progress.
- The content fails malware scanning.
- The content can't be indexed successfully.
- The content is located outside a connected SharePoint site.
Integration limits
The SharePoint knowledge connector applies the following limits:
- Your subscription determines the maximum number of SharePoint sites you can connect.
- Site limits apply only to connected SharePoint sites. They don't apply to document libraries, folders, or individual files.
- After you disconnect a SharePoint site, you can't reconnect it for 30 days.
