Your Applaud subscription determines:
- How many SharePoint sites you can connect.
- How often Applaud synchronizes content from connected SharePoint sites.
How SharePoint site limits work
Your subscription determines the maximum number of SharePoint sites you can connect. This limit applies only to connected sites and doesn't depend on:
- The number of document libraries.
- The number of files.
- The number of knowledge items created from synchronized content.
The SharePoint sites page displays how many sites are currently connected, for example, 3 of 20 sites connected.
If you reach your site limit, disconnect an existing site before connecting another. If you need additional capacity, contact Applaud.
Subscription limits
| Subscription plan | Connected sites | Synchronization frequency |
| Starter | 1 | Every 7 days |
| Standard | 5 | Daily |
| Plus | 10 | Every 6 hours |
| Enterprise | 20 | Hourly |
How synchronization frequency works
Synchronization frequency determines how often Applaud checks connected SharePoint sites for new, updated, or deleted content.
- Daily – Checks for changes once every day.
- Every 6 hours – Checks for changes four times per day.
- Hourly – Checks for changes every hour so updates become available sooner.
Advanced parsing
Advanced parsing availability depends on your subscription plan.
If your organization uses advanced parsing, supported content can be processed using enhanced extraction capabilities. Refer to your subscription details for feature availability.
What happens when you disconnect a site
When you disconnect a SharePoint site:
- The site no longer counts toward your connected site limit.
- Applaud stops synchronizing content from the site.
- Existing synchronized content is removed from your knowledge base.
- The site enters a 30-day cooldown period.
- You can't reconnect the site until the cooldown period ends.
