All products require an activation code before you can use them for commercial purposes. Products cease to function after 30 days of use unless activated. Products might also cease to function if you don't renew a subscription license or if users are under-licensed.
Products migh also get deactivated while cloning or upgrading the Oracle database. If this happens, please contact Applaud Support to request new activation codes.
- Ensure you have been assigned the Applaud Administrator responsibility.
- Navigate to Applaud Administrator: Setup: General: Installed products.
Here you will see a list of installed products, the product version number, the product status, and any warnings or alerts about licensing issues. If any products are not activated, you will see an Activate action; hit this to view the current Serial Number and see an option to enter an Activation Code. Finally, you will see an Update action for existing activated products, which allows you to enter an updated Activation Code issued by Applaud.
The Status block on the General page may also highlight license or activation issues that need resolving.
Applaud Solutions generates a serial number for your product when you install a product onto your system. This serial number is unique for this database and will be of the form SN-******-******-******-******-****** where each * is an alphanumeric character. Your Serial Number may be longer or shorter than this example.
