Generative AI is fast and efficient, but sometimes you may prefer to create content yourself. Use this procedure to write an article manually in Knowledge Management.
Procedure
- Open the My Knowledge page and from the top-right corner select WRITE MANUALLY.
- From the Category list, select the category for your article.
- From the Template list, select a template to help you structure your article.

In the Content body, use the Rich Text Editor to write your article and format your text.
If you're using the older version of the editor, you can Switch to a better Rich Text Editor experience.
- If you use the advanced rich text editor, the toolbar groups tools for easy access:
- Text formatting: bold, italic, underline, superscript, subscript.
- Layout tools: alignment, indentation.
- Insert elements: quotes, tables, code blocks.
- Lists: bulleted and numbered options grouped together.
- Optionally, add multimedia such as images and videos to make your content more engaging:
- Select Insert → Upload file.
- You can upload video files up to 20MB in one of the supported formats: MP4, OGV, OGM, WebM, MOV, MKV.
- Optionally, Link to other knowledge articles in your content:
- Highlight the text and select the document icon, or type @ and search for the article.
- Select the article to insert a link chip.
- If you use the advanced rich text editor, the toolbar groups tools for easy access:
- Optionally, use AI tools for refinement:
- Polish content: improves clarity and grammar without changing meaning.
- Generate title and subtitle: AI suggests headings based on your content.
- Select SAVE when you are happy with your article.
