This article shows how to create a simple global menu using the Content library as an example. You will configure a primary menu that appears in the global (burger) menu.
Before you start
Make sure you have the required pages in your Applaud tenant. For this example, we're using pages added by the Content library template.

- To install the content pack, see Content library pack.
Step 1: Add a new menu
Create a new menu with the following settings:
- Name: "Content library"
- Type: "Global"

Step 2: Add menu items to your global menu
Add one or more Applaud Cloud Page items to your menu. These items will appear as links under your global menu. For step-by-step instructions, see our knowledge base article, Add menu items to your global or a sub-menu.
You can configure how each item appears and add additional items as needed.
Step3: Add your global menu as the primary menu
To make the menu visible in the platform’s global (burger) menu, assign it as the primary menu.

Once configured, your menu items appear in the global (burger) menu for easy access.
