Use this dialog box to invite a user to your Applaud tenant.

After you fill in the form, this becomes active, and once you select it, the platform sends the user an invitation email to access your Applaud tenant. |
Email address |
The email address of your user. This must be a real email address. You can't send the invitation if the email is not a real email address. If the user doesn't have a user account with Applaud yet, Applaud sends them an email to verify their email address and set their password. If the user already has an account on a different tenant, Applaud sends an email saying they've been added to the new tenant. The user account isn't valid until an invited user has verified their email. You can see the 'Invited' chip on their user record, and you also have the option to re-invite them. If at any point you no longer want the user, you should delete them from your tenant. |
Name |
This is populated from the email address you entered. However, you can change this here. You can't amend this after you have invited the user. |
Roles |
The list of available roles in your Applaud tenant. |
Do not send an email invitation |
Suppresses the standard email notification when inviting a new user. This means Applaud doesn't send the user an email with a "Set your password" link. Instead, the user needs to select the "Reset password" option. If you're using Single sign-on, this is unnecessary because a new password is not required. |
