Applaud supports DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) to help protect your organization against email spoofing, when someone tries to send emails pretending to be from you.
How DKIM works
- Applaud digitally signs all outbound emails using your domain.
- Your email service provider checks incoming emails for a valid DKIM signature.
- If the message is signed and matches your registered domain, the provider delivers it as usual.
- If the message is missing or has an invalid signature, the provider may deliver it with a warning or block it completely.
Why use DKIM?
Enabling DKIM for Applaud emails helps you:
- Prove that emails originate from your organization
- Protect employees from phishing and spoofing attempts
- Improve trust and deliverability of email notifications
