Only users with the Tenant admin or Experience Designer roles can view this page or perform this action.
Procedure
- On the Admin home page, select Templates.
- On the Templates page, select CREATE NEW.
- In the Title box, type in a name for your template, for example, "Expenses."
- If you want to make this template available to other tenants, you can select the Give access to additional named tenant option. Next, under the Named tenants section, type in the tenant's URL address.
- In the Intro box, enter a short description of what this template does. For example, "Expense capture and workflow.
- In the Full description text box, enter a more detailed description of what this template does. You can also include pictures and videos.
- Under the Contents section, select the contents you want to include in your template from each item list. Applaud selects any dependencies automatically. However, Applaud won't include the model's data unless you select the model from the Model data list.
- To copy a model's data from the Model data list, select the model whose data you want to include. If you select the model data here, you don't need to select the model from the Models list, too, because Applaud picks up all dependencies automatically.
- You can only select models that don't have any foreign keys to other models.
- You can only select models with less than 500 instances.
- Applaud won't pick up any instances you add to the model after creating the template.
- To copy a model's data from the Model data list, select the model whose data you want to include. If you select the model data here, you don't need to select the model from the Models list, too, because Applaud picks up all dependencies automatically.
- Select CONTINUE and review all of the items you selected and their dependencies.
- When you are happy, select SAVE.
