View the Slack channel status to confirm whether your Applaud tenant is connected to one or more Slack workspaces.
The Slack channel page shows the current connection status, connected workspaces, and whether the channel is available for employees to use.
Before you begin
Required roles
The following roles can view Slack connection status:
- Tenant admin
- Product admin
- Experience Designer
View connection status
- Sign in to Applaud.
- Go to Admin home > Channels.
- Select Slack.
The Slack channel page displays the current status and any connected workspaces.
Understand connection status
| Status | Description |
| Connected | One or more Slack workspaces are connected to your Applaud tenant. |
| Setup required | No Slack workspaces are connected. Connect a workspace before employees can use the Slack channel. |
| Contact support | The Slack channel isn't enabled for your tenant. Contact Applaud Support to enable it. |
Connected workspaces
The Connected workspaces section lists every Slack workspace connected to your tenant.
If your organization uses multiple workspaces, each workspace is displayed separately and can be managed independently.
Track connection status changes
The Slack channel status updates automatically as workspaces are connected or disconnected.

| Connect the first workspace | Status changes to Connected. |
| Connect additional workspaces | Status remains Connected. |
| Disconnect a workspace while others remain connected | Status remains Connected. |
| Disconnect the last workspace | Status changes to Setup required. |
