Disconnect a SharePoint site to stop synchronizing its content with your Applaud knowledge base.
Before you begin
Make sure that:
- You have Tenant Administrator permissions in Applaud.
- The SharePoint site is currently connected.
- You understand that a disconnected site can't be reconnected for 30 days.
Disconnect a SharePoint site
- From Applaud admin, select Knowledge integration.
- Under Knowledge connectors, select SharePoint.
- Locate the SharePoint site you want to disconnect.
- Clear the checkbox next to the site.
- Review the confirmation message.
- Select Save.
If you decide not to disconnect the site before saving your changes, select the checkbox again to keep the site connected.
What happens after you disconnect a site
After you save your changes:
- Applaud stops synchronizing content from the site.
- The site is scheduled for removal from your knowledge base.
- Existing synchronized content is removed after the background removal process completes.
- The AI Assistant no longer uses content from the disconnected site.
- Your original SharePoint files remain unchanged.
After the removal process is complete, the site no longer appears as connected.
