You can point your Applaud Cloud tenant to a custom domain, making it easier for employees to remember and feel personalized to your organization. For example, instead of using mycompany-com.applaudcloud.com, you could use applaud.mycompany.com.
Before you start
Your network administrator must update your domain’s DNS records before you can configure a custom domain in Applaud. This requires a CNAME record pointing from your custom domain to your Applaud domain (for example, mycompany-com.applaudcloud.com).
- Changes to DNS records can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
- Once the DNS records are updated, you can enter the custom domain in your Applaud tenant’s settings.
- Applaud will set up SSL (HTTPS) automatically, so your site is secure.
Integrations and domains
You can choose whether the Integrations page runs on your custom or default domain. Important points:
- If you set up a custom domain, integrations will continue to run only on the default domain.
- If you would like to run integrations on your custom domain, you can contact Applaud Support. They can configure integrations specifically for that domain.
- Once integrations are configured on your custom domain, they will no longer run on the default domain.
