You can change the default landing page to any page in your platform.
Authenticated users home
After you sign in to your Applaud tenant, the Admin home page opens automatically by default if you have administration rights. This page is also called the Dashboard page, with the URL being, for example, https://yourcompany-com.applaudcloud.com/dashboard. You can choose to show a home page that you created after your users sign in.
If anyone navigates to your Applaud site, they are shown the original sign-in page by default. However, you might want to show another page with more details and configure the sign-in block yourself.
You can nominate an anonymous default page to show when unauthenticated users land on your site. This page usually has a Login form block on it.
This is the dialog box that shows the sign-in form that shows when you try to access any page that requires you to sign in.
You can replace the default sign-in page and configure the sign-in experience for your various users so it is safe and easy for your users to sign in. To do this, you must create a page in your Applaud tenant with a Login form content block. See our knowledge base articles, Add a new page and header, and Login forms.
If you have configured SSO (Single Sign-On), the original Login form block on the Sign-in page only shows either Login (SSO only) or Login (Google only), depending on whether SSO is Google or not. If you want to provide both a username and password and SSO option, you need to use a custom Login form block.
As an Applaud tenant administrator, if your SSO isn't working, you can use a local login link to access your tenant. See our knowledge base article, Rescue URL for tenant administrators.
Your Applaud tenant comes with a default 404 page that tells your users that the page can't be found. However, you can create your own landing page to show when the requested page is unavailable. You can create a page that shows more information and adheres to your brand guidelines.
For each of the default pages mentioned, you can install a template sample page. See our knowledge base article, Install a new template or an updated template.
