Each journey is made up of time-based stages that guide the employee through a structured experience. As the employee progresses, the stage view updates to reflect the current point in their journey—for example, shifting from onboarding forms in Week 1 to training guidance in Week 2.
Each stage presents content and tasks relevant to that point in the journey, helping employees stay focused and complete the right actions at the right time.
What employees see
Employees enrolled in a journey see a dedicated page for each stage of the journey. This page updates automatically as they move forward, presenting only the content and tasks relevant to their current stage.
For example, during their first week, the stage might prompt the employee to submit personal details. The following week, the content could shift to focus on completing assigned training modules.
Stage content types
Each stage includes two key types of content:
Hero content
Hero content appears at the top of the stage and draws immediate attention. It often includes an image or banner alongside a short, engaging message that:
- Explains the purpose of the stage.
- Motivates the employee to complete their tasks.
- Provides key context to guide next steps.
Featured content
Featured content appears below the hero area and provides supporting information, such as:
- Links to resources or tools.
- Brief instructions or reminders.
- Knowledge articles related to the current stage.
This content helps employees understand what is expected of them and provides them with the necessary information to complete their tasks efficiently.
