Add a Generate text workflow action – Applaud Support

Prerequisite

On the workflow chart, select the plus (+) icon.
In the Workflow action dialog box, select Generate text.
In the Label field, enter a meaningful name to help you identify this action in later steps.
In the What do you want to generate? box, enter your prompt. This tells the AI what content to create. You can type plain text or insert tokens using the Token picker to dynamically personalise the response. You can select Learn how to get this right to open guidance for writing effective prompts.
For example:

Write a short welcome message for the new starter, {triggeringUser.Name}, and include a reminder to read the employee handbook.
```
From the Run as user field, select the user whose security context and preferences should be applied. For example, choose the Triggering user, or select a user retrieved earlier in the workflow using a Retrieve information action.
Select Add to insert the action into your workflow.
