The Experience Insights dashboard helps you see how your workforce is using Applaud so you can measure engagement, spot trends, and improve the digital employee experience. HR managers can use this data to identify knowledge gaps, understand how employees access services, and make informed decisions about where to improve content or navigation.
Google Analytics powers the dashboard. To set it up, you need your site’s property ID and a key file generated in Google Console, which you upload to the Tenant’s Settings page. It also shows data from your Google Tag Manager account, which you need to import into your container to view details in the All Forms graph block.
You can’t amend the dashboard, but you can use filters at the top of the page to adjust the information displayed, such as date range, country filter, role filter, and device filter.
Metrics

The dashboard includes several insight blocks to help you analyse usage:

Filter data on your page
You can filter the data to focus on the most relevant insights. Select the filter icon, choose your filters, and select Done. To reset filters, select Reset.
Change the date range
To change the date range, select the filter icon, expand the Period section, choose your dates, and select Done.
Best practices
To get the most value from the Experience Insights dashboard:
- Check regularly – Review the dashboard monthly to track adoption and spot trends.
- Use search insights – Focus your knowledge base updates on the most common employee search terms.
- Compare devices – Optimise page design by checking whether employees mainly use desktop or mobile.
- Review globally – Use the country insights to identify regions with low engagement and adjust communications accordingly.
