Users page (Role assign users) – Applaud Support

Use this page to assign users to a role.

The context menu for each user here contains a DELETE function, which doesn't remove the user from the role but rather deletes the user from your tenant. So, please be cautious when trying to remove a user from a role. It's better to select the user and go to the User roles page to revoke a role.

Users _No.	This indicates the number of users that you have.
	Opens the Search box so that you can search your list of users for a specific user. The search filters the list in real-time as you type. To close the box, select CANCEL.
User row	Selecting the user's row opens the User definition page, where you can manage the user's details, preferences, and roles. You can see some of the user's details at a glance in their row.

User row

	If you have avatars or images for your users, this displays those images. Otherwise, this shows an avatar icon with their initials.
User's name	This is usually the full name of the user. If you have imported users, this could be the name they are known by rather than their full name.
Email address	This is the user's work email address. This is the email address used by your Applaud tenant to send their invite email and the email address used to sign in to your Applaud tenant if you are not using Single Sign-On.
User's status and their roles	These colored information chips show the user's status and roles assigned to them.
	Opens a context menu, where you can select to either UNSUSPEND, DELETE, SUSPEND, or REINVITE the user.

Roles and status chips

Invited	This indicates that Applaud has sent an invite email to the user, but they have yet to sign in to your Applaud tenant.
Tenant admin	This indicates that the user has the Tenant admin role assigned to them. All the roles assigned to the user appear here.
Deleted	This indicates that the user has been deleted. You can undelete a deleted user.
Suspended	This indicates that the user's access to your Applaud tenant has been paused. You can unsuspend a suspended user.

Context menu

ASSIGN ROLES	Opens the User roles dialog box so Identity administrators can assign roles to a user quickly.
DELETE	Marks the user as "deleted" but doesn't remove their details from your Applaud tenant. This appears in the context menu when you select the ellipsis next to any user not already deleted. Note Deleted users don't count towards your subscription.
UNDELETE	Reinstates a deleted user's record and removes the "deleted" flag. This appears in the context menu when you select the ellipsis next to a deleted user.
SUSPEND	Suspends the user's access to your Applaud tenant. This appears in the context menu when you select the ellipsis next to any user not already suspended. Note Suspended users count towards your subscription.
UNSUSPEND	Reinstates a suspended user's access so that they can sign in to your Applaud tenant again. This appears in the context menu when you select the ellipsis next to a suspended user.
REINVITE	Resends the invitation email to the user. This option appears in the context menu when you select the ellipsis next to a user that hasn't signed in yet.
