Analytics present a single, centralized view for capturing employee behavior, feedback, search, knowledge, and case interactions across all Applaud HR products.
This overview allows you to apply reliable reporting, actionable insights, and AI-driven improvements using secure, scalable data pipelines.
You can access the analytics dashboard via the Administrator home screen.
The analytics displayed on your analytics dashboard blocks are preset and fixed.
Each dashboard has a different set of blocks. For more information, see:
Filters
Default filters
Analytics dashboards have three main default filter options:
- Period: The time period that you want to display analytics within, for example: The last three months/quarter
- Role: The user role that you want to display analytics on, for example: Manager or Employee
- Channel: The channel that you want to display analytics on, for example: Teams or Slack
When you initially open the analytics dashboards, only the date range is pre-configured. The date range considered is the last month from your current date, and roles/channels are unassigned.
You can adjust the time period, role, and channel filters to your preferences using the relevant filter menus.
Once selected, filters appear above your dashboard blocks, and you can remove them at any time by clicking Reset.
Period
To adjust the time period that you want to display analytics within:
- Click the filter icon to open the filter menu.
- Expand the Period menu.
- Click Select range to open the calendar menu.
- Select the two dates that you want the range to run from and to.
Role
To select the role that you want to display analytics on:
- Click the filter icon to open the filter menu.
- Expand the Role menu.
- Tick the checkbox next to the relevant channel(s).
Custom filters
We can also add custom filters by checking the 'Use this property as a custom filter in Analytics' box in the user model properties (custom user property), like 'Department', and setting it to be used in analytics.
Once your custom filter is set up, and the field is set on the user record(s), for example, Department=Sales, it's then captured in all future interactions.
