Procedure
- On the Admin home page, select Agents, and on the Agents page, select ADD.
- On the Agent dialog box, in the Agent title box, enter a unique name for this agent.
- In the Description box, enter a description of what the agent can help your users with.
- Select UPLOAD to add an Avatar for your bot. This appears as the button on your page.
- In the Instructions box, enter an AI prompt that tells the agent how you want it to greet users and assist them.
This is the main 'how you should behave' guidance for the agent (what to do, tone, boundaries, what to ask, etc.).
- In the Agent Tools box, select up to five tools the agent can use.
Eligibility
Eligibility defines who can use an agent and, in some cases, where or when it appears. It controls access and visibility, not the agent’s behavior. If you don’t restrict eligibility, the agent is available to all users who can access the agent. If you do restrict it, only users who meet your rules can see or use it.
Create eligibility criteria:
- In the Property box, select a User property.
- In the Criteria box. select the criteria you want the property to meet.
- In the Value box, select the value you want the property to meet.
- Optionally combine rules:
- AND: user must meet all conditions
- OR: user can meet any condition
- Select CREATE to save.
- Select ACTIVATE to activate the agent.
Use small test groups to validate behavior. Confirm the agent appears for eligible users and is hidden (or unavailable) for others.
