Before users can interact with the assistant, the organization must establish a connection between Microsoft Teams and the Applaud application.
The assistant displays a Connect screen until a user successfully creates the connection.
Connection ownership
When a user creates the connection:
- The system assigns that user as the Connection Owner
- The system allows only one active connection
- Other users can view but not modify the connection
Only the Connection Owner or a tenant admin can disconnect the integration.
If the connection is disconnected, any user can reconnect and become the new Connection Owner.
