User groups
User groups and group notifications
We've added the new User groups function to the Admin home page:
This opens the new User groups page:
You can create a fixed user group from a list of available users or a group based on a filter. You can select an existing filter or create a new one. Once you have created a user group, you can use it in the Send notification workflow action. See our knowledge base article, About user groups in Applaud.
Page content blocks
Rounded corners on blocks
We've added rounded corners on content blocks on pages so that the style is aligned with modern material design:
Rounded corners on grid items
In line with our other update to modern material design, all grid items now appear with rounded corners:
Image thumbnail shape and size
We've increased the size of the thumbnail of images in list blocks so that the style is aligned with modern material design:
See our knowledge base article, About the list block avatar, icon and image feature.
Optimization of pages loading
We've improved the speed at which pages load by removing one of the two APIs that previously needed to be called to load the page.

Social reactions: Support for One-touch reactions
We've added support for one-touch social reactions. You can now select the like option to like an item immediately. On desktop, you can hover over the button or long-press the button on a mobile device to choose another reaction. See our knowledge base article, About the list block Social reactions.
Tasks
Bulk delete, mark as complete, and reassign tasks
We have added the option to bulk select and action tasks. You can select multiple tasks and either delete or reassign them.
Once you reassign the tasks, an email is sent to the newly assigned user:
Notifications
Global customization option for the email notification call-to-action text
We've added a new option to the Settings page where you can fully customize the button label shown on email notifications.
The text you enter here appears on the email button label:
Translation
Support to translate text/strings that originate from code
We've added support for translating text that emanates from code to ensure all text is translated for users.
Communications internalization
We've added support for translating communications into the user's selected language so that they have a seamless experience. This includes email notifications from the Applaud platform, tasks and notifications, and approval task and notification content.
Option for users to choose their preferred language within their user settings
Previously, only the tenant admin could set the language for a user on the User preferences page. We've removed that page and added the functionality for a user to change their language preference setting. A user can select their avatar in the top-right of the platform and select Settings to open their User settings page.
Here, under Language Preferences, the user can select from the installed languages.
So that admin users can still amend the user's language, we've added the option to the User definition page:
See our knowledge base article, About installed languages.
Mobile app
Horizontal scrolling support for list blocks on mobile
We've added a new option to the general list block settings, which supports horizontal scrolling on mobile devices.
The user can swipe left and right to see other items in the list:
See our knowledge base article, General content settings.
Integration
Updated user email updates the Workato user email
We've added support for when users' email is updated, their integration email is updated automatically. Read more about our integration with Workato, About Applaud's integration with Workato.
Settings
Default Remember me time for old and new tenants
Starting from Release 10, all new tenants will have a default 'remember me' time of two weeks. If a user doesn't enable the 'remember me' option during sign-in, an access token will be created for two weeks only for new tenants. However, for older tenants created before Release 10, an access token will only last four hours. See our knowledge base article, Set your users' maximum session duration.
Remember Me for mobile app
We've enhanced our native iOS and Android apps to cater to the Remember Me functionality so that a user can be remembered on their mobile device.
If you enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and set the session time to longer than eight hours, the users are asked if they want to be remembered.
The user is not shown this option if the session time is four hours or less.
When you have the single sign-on (SSO) setup and have the session time to longer than eight hours, the user's are asked if they want to be remembered after they sign in:
Licensing
Maximum users validation
We've added validation to areas where you add users so that you are notified when you have reached your licensed maximum limit of users. This includes individual invites, SSO sign-in, imports, integrations, and assigning and revoking roles.
