Experience Insights - View your Google Analytics data on your platform
One of the major features of this release is our Experience Insights page. It's available to Tenant Admins and Experience Designers to view up-to-date data from your Google Analytics account. You can now link your Google Analytics and Tag Manager to your Applaud Platform and view your platform data about usage. See our knowledge base article, Configure your Google Analytics tracking settings.
You can see what apps that you've built are getting used the most and which ones might no longer be required. To read more about this new feature, see our knowledge base article, About experience insights dashboard in Applaud.
New option to export lookup and foreign key ids on list export
We've added a new option when configuring an export button for your list block. When a user exports items from a list, the export shows the foreign key and lookups' values. If you select the new option, the export shows the ids. See our knowledge base article, Add a list block.
More contextual error message when accidentally setting up a workflow infinite loop
You can't add a create model instance, a clear property, or a set property workflow action for the same model used in the workflow's trigger because it will cause an infinite loop. Therefore, we have added validation to those situations and added error messages to let you know. See our knowledge base article, Create a workflow.
Simple overriding of machine translation
We've improved our translation, so you can now override it if it's wrong. For example, if you're a non-English user and something doesn't look right, you can now edit the translated text and save it to override the translation. See our knowledge base article, About installed languages.
Clear property workflow action
Experience designers can add a chatbot action to clear model properties so that the bot can automate updates. You can clear properties for model instances retrieved via prior Retrieve information actions.
See our knowledge base articles, About the clear property chat action and Add a clear property chat action.
Domain API keys
Identity managers can now use domain-wide API keys to limit access to your Applaud tenant to internal network traffic only. We've added a new Domain keys section to the API keys page. You can perform most of the same functions as the existing API keys, see our knowledge base article, Restrict access to your Applaud platform using API and domain API keys.
Once you add a new key, you need to enable it. You can implement your own key rotation by regenerating it or you can revoke it.
Reorder multirow fields
You can now reorder fields added to a form from a related model. When you select the Allow related models to be updated in the same form option and added a related model's fields, you can move the field order by selecting the arrows. See our knowledge base article, Add a Form block.
Select the field and then select the arrow to move the field:
API key access to chatbot history
Experience Designers can now use the chatbot chat history of a particular chat to take action, for example, to send an email or create a support case automatically. See our knowledge base article, About Applaud's integration with Workato.
Update the user's name and initials
An Identity manager can now edit a user's name and initials. See our knowledge base article, Update a user's email address, name and initials.
