Users with the user roles, Tenant admin, or Experience designer can view how your organization's workforce is using the Applaud app so you can measure and improve your Applaud platform's digital employee experience. The Experience insights page obtains the data from your Google Analytics account using the site's property ID and a keyfile.json generated in Google Console, which you can enter and upload on the tenant's Settings page. It also shows data from your Google Tag Manager account, which you need to import our JSON container to view details in the All Forms graph block.
You can't amend the dashboard, but you can use filters. Filters at the top of the page adjust the information display for all chart blocks. For example, date range, country filter, role filter, and device filter.
The top of the Experience Insights page shows some main Google Analytics metrics. We've added descriptions of what each metric is showing. However, since this is data from Google Analytics, to understand your data more deeply, see Google Analytics help articles.
The Users and Active Users metrics show how many users engaged with your site or app.
The period a user is active on your site or app. By default, if a user is inactive for 30 minutes or more, any future activity is attributed to a new session. Users that leave your site and return within 30 minutes are counted as part of the original session.
The engagement rate is the number of engaged sessions divided by the total number of sessions over a specified period. An engaging session is a session that lasted longer than 10 seconds, had a conversion event, or had at least two page views or screen views.
A conversion is a user action you count because you consider it essential, such as a purchase, game level completion, or website or app scroll activity.
Top 15 Services
This donut chart shows page views within each section of your Applaud platform for the top 15 viewed by percentage.
You can remove a section from the chart view by selecting it in the legend. Then, you re-add it by selecting it again.
You can save an image of the chart by selecting the camera icon.
By default, when you place your mouse cursor over a pie section, a popup shows the page views by number, as shown in the image for the orange section. You can select the tag toggle icon to stop the popup from showing when you place your mouse cursor over the section.
The Channels donut shows the cross-device report, showing how many users are accessing your app on either a desktop device or a mobile device.
You can save an image of this chart as with the Top 15 services chart by selecting the camera and toggle the hover over page views amount by selecting the tab toggle.
To view data in this graph, you need to upload our JSON container to your Google Tag Manager account. It shows the various forms used in your Applaud platform, excluding sign-in forms and detail blocks.
For this graph to work, you must set up your Google Tag Manager account and import our container. See our knowledge base article, Configure your Google Analytics tracking settings.
