Applaud is a platform where you can make your content as accessible as you need for your users. However, we want to aid you in making your solution accessible to your users. Therefore, we have had Applaud professionally checked to ensure our product adheres to accessibility standards.
- We tested our product with Windows and macOS screen readers.
- We submitted our product for Accessibility Conformance testing. Our VPAT document is available upon request.
|Brand control||You can control the branding and colors of your platform at all times. Color contrast, for example, the text is readable on a colored background. As part of the branding and choosing colors, we choose a contrasting color automatically for a suitable contrast ratio where possible.|
All functionality is available through keyboard navigation.
|Content blocks||You can arrange content blocks on a page to help with the flow of information and make it easier for your users to consume. For example, see our knowledge base articles in the Add content block to your page.|
|Image tagging, text alternatives||Images are available to Assistive Technology. For user interface components with labels that include text or images of text, the name contains the text that is presented visually.|
|Icon consistency||Applaud Cloud uses a consistent list of icons throughout the platform.|
|Background images||Background images are often used for cosmetic purposes and do not restrict control.|
|Links, buttons||You can customize all your links and buttons on pages, see our knowledge base article, Edit submit button.|
|Chatbot||The chatbot builder supplied with Applaud Cloud means you can define how you create self-help for your users.|
|Speech and hearing||Applaud Cloud doesn't contain any features that require user speech or hearing.|
|Multimedia||The Applaud Cloud platform supports the use of multimedia, so you can add all sorts of helpful content for your users.|

|Time limits||There's no time-limited functionality in Applaud Cloud and users can take as long as they need to complete tasks.|

Report any non-compliance within Applaud
Please raise a support ticket if you find any part of the Applaud software non-compliant with the legislative requirements. We'll then fix this and deliver the fix within the next available software update. You must have a valid technical maintenance agreement to receive these updates.
