The Personal info template adds the functionality for employees to self-service their personal information with this template. Some other templates add this functionality, which we have documented in these knowledge base articles:

The template adds a Personal info page:

The page consists of a rich text block, followed by a list block with the navigation links you add using the Searchable navigation template. See our knowledge base article, Searchable navigation.
Next is another rich text block and three list blocks containing the Knowledge articles, FAQs, and Useful links templates. See our knowledge base articles, Knowledge articles, FAQs, and Useful links. A category filters each block. Make sure the items you want to show in the list contain that category.
Notice that there are no FAQ items in the image of the Personal info page. If you can't get the item to appear in the list, edit the block and in the settings filter, remove the Categories value and add the category you assigned to the items you want to appear.
All the categories you've added appear in the Categories Value list:
