Users in your Applaud tenant are all the people who use your system. You can control what your users do and have access to with Roles. See our help topic, About custom roles.
You can quickly see the status and roles assigned to your users on the Users page with information chips.
|Invited||Applaud has sent an invitation email to the user, but they have yet to sign in.|
|Suspended||The user's access to your Applaud tenant has been restricted. However, suspended users still count towards your user subscriptions. If you need to block access for a user, you can quickly suspend their account or delete it. If you need to reinstate the user's access, you can unsuspend the user at any time.|
|Deleted||The user's access to your Applaud tenant has been completely revoked. Deleted users don't count towards your user subscriptions.|
You can quickly change the status of any user with their context menu. The options change depending on the status of the user. See our knowledge base article, Change a user's status.
Each user in your Applaud tenant can have their avatar. You can let your users update their own, or you can use an avatar from an existing third-party system where you're importing your user information. If you select to update this from your third-party system, you can prevent your users from updating their avatar themselves on the global settings page. See our knowledge base article, Prevent users editing their photo.
