We've added a message to show any user trying to access the Applaud app on a rooted or jailbroken device to prevent attackers from gaining higher-level privileges and access to sensitive functionality. See our knowledge base article, Jailbroken device detected.
We have enhanced the filter option on the Task page so you can reset your filters to the default setting after applying additional filters. This is so you can return to the default view quickly. See our knowledge base article, About tasks.
When a template has been changed, you can see a chip on the template on the Templates page that says "Update available." You can open the template to see the changes to the template before installing the update. This gives you a choice to quickly update your Applaud content in line with available templates, for example, changes in a list of country names. See our knowledge article, About templates.
We have enhanced filters, so you can now choose to filter data based on effective start dates and end dates around "today." This adds further flexibility when configuring conditions for various features within your Applaud app.
We've enhanced the rich text editor in the rich text block by adding text alignment options. This gives you the freedom to layout the text as you want it to appear on your page. See our knowledge base article, About the rich text block.
We've enhanced the user invite process by adding a new option to the Invite a user dialog box:
-
Do not send an email invitation
This means Applaud doesn't send the user an email with a "Set your password" link. Instead, the user needs to select the "Reset password" option. If you're using Single sign-on, this is unnecessary because a new password is not required. You might find this useful if you are using single sign-on and want your users to access your Applaud tenant from a link within your authenticated space and don't want to send unnecessary emails to your users. See our knowledge base article, Send an invite to a new user.
We've enhanced the rich text editor in the rich text block by adding a color picker so you can change your font color, giving you more flexibility on how you want the text to look on a page. The first few colors are the active brand's colors. See our knowledge base article, About the rich text block.
Previously completed tasks remained on your task list, which might make your list rather large if you receive many tasks. We have enhanced the functionality so that when you complete a task, Applaud removes it from your list automatically, so your task list doesn't get cluttered with tasks you no longer need to view. See our knowledge base article, About tasks.
We have enhanced the call-to-action block by adding the option to set the advert block's preferred width. This gives you more flexibility on how you want your call-out adverts to appear. See our knowledge base article, Add a call to action block.
We have enhanced the calendar layout when you use the scheduler, so you can now choose to either show either the calendar or the scheduler by default. This gives you more control over how you want your users to view a certain page while retaining the option for your users to change the view. See our knowledge base article, Add a calendar block.
We've enhanced the search boxes you add to your pages by including autocomplete. This saves your users time when trying to find something, especially when using smaller mobile devices where using a keyboard is more difficult. See our knowledge base article, About search settings.
We have enhanced the notification function to see all their notifications in the list by default. When they mark an unread notification as read, the rest of the unread notifications don't disappear after the page refreshes. See our knowledge base article, About notifications.
We have added support to connect your applaud tenant to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We've added a new setting on the Settings page where you can enter your GA4 tracking number so you can take advantage of GA4's advanced event-based architecture. See our knowledge base article, About tracking site usage.
