Use the search setting "Title" for the "Search for" filter label on the results
Previously, when performing a search, the Search For filter label was the model name by default.
We have enhanced the Search Settings to configure the Search For label by adding a new field to the Content dialog box:
-
Title
The new title appears as the Search For filter label:
See our article, About search settings.
API for reCAPTCHA support in Applaud for Oracle on-premise
We have added the functionality to validate reCAPTCHA with a specific secret key and g-recaptha-response so that Google reCAPTCHA can secure applaud pages against DDOS attacks. See more about reCAPTCHA on Google's website, reCAPTCHA protects your website from fraud and abuse.
Use my preferred language
We have enhanced your Applaud tenant to display text in the browser's default language so that users can see it in their preferred language. See our article, About your Applaud tenant users.
Login form content type
We've added a new content block, Login form, to the Content dialog box so that you can add a new sign-in box to a page in your Applaud tenant.
You can customize:
-
The introductory text on the form.
-
The background color of the form.
-
If you're not using Google, the SIGN IN button's text and color.
-
Buttons to open external websites or internal Applaud pages.
-
Background color and text.
-
Icon.
-
When a user navigates to the URL of the page to which you have added the login form, the sign-in form appears with any buttons that link to external websites. They can't see any buttons that open any internal pages in your Applaud tenant until after they have signed in. If you are using Single Sign-On (SSO), and the user is signed into their account, they can select SIGN IN to access your Applaud tenant. Otherwise, they need to enter an email and password. See our article, Login forms.
Allow user to see the current approver when an instance is in the workflow
We have enhanced the Approval workflow action so that your users can now see who the approver of their request is. For example, previously, if a user requested some time off, they couldn't see who the request was with, but now they can see details of the person to whom the request has been sent. See the Approval section of our article, Create a workflow.
User-level language and regional preferences
To set the language for your users, we have added a new Language list on the PREFERENCES tab of a user's page. You can only select from installed languages. Please speak to Applaud support to see about installing languages on your Applaud tenant. See our article, About user groups in Applaud.
Ability to use the Task model in lists and workflow actions
To use the standard task model that we created, like other models, we have added support to use this in workflows and lists.
Task types
We have enhanced the task workflow action by adding a new section where you can add a:
-
Task type
You can either choose from an existing task type or add your own, which you can reuse it again. See the Tasks section in our article, Create a workflow.
Your users can now filter their tasks by the type that you added.
Workflow task secondary actions
We have added a new option to the Workflow action dialog box:
-
Include secondary actions
When selected, this expands the view to display options to add a new task action button:
You can add buttons to open either external web pages or internal pages from your Applaud tenant. You can choose how the links open, for example, in a dialog box, in a new tab, or in the current tab. You can also choose an icon for your button, the button's color, and whether the button has a colored background with black text, "Normal," or no background with colored text, "Light." See our article, Create a workflow.
