We've enhanced workflows that trigger on a date property so that they now continue to trigger if the workflow updates that date property.
For example, you can now create workflows that trigger themselves repeatedly, such as a work anniversary. See our article, Workflow actions.
We've added the functionality for old notifications and tasks to be visible to users to refer back to. Users can see only unread notifications and open tasks by default but can now see all their notifications and tasks in their lists by filtering by the statuses. For example, the statuses read and unread for notifications and completed, canceled, and open for tasks.
Option to prevent assignee from manually marking a task as completed in the create task workflow action
So that a task can only be marked as completed by an automated process and not manually marked as completed by the user, we've added a new option on the Workflow action dialog box with Create Task selected, under the Task actions section:
-
Remove primary 'Mark as complete' action.
When not selected, all tasks created as part of this workflow action have the Mark as complete option included. The option does not appear when selected, and only an API or workflow action can mark the task as complete. See our article, Workflow actions.
We have enhanced the analytics content block to add settings to create charts quickly and easily automatically.
For example, if you select a name property (text) and a score property (number) for an area, bar, column, line, or scatter chart, Applaud sets up the x-axis as the number property (score) and the y-axis as the text property (name) automatically. See our article, Analytics.
We have enhanced the analytics content block and provided embedded prebuilt analytics so that that you can gain valuable insights and take appropriate action.
For example, you can:
-
Create an area, a bar or column, a line, a pie, or a scatter chart type.
-
Choose the model that populates your chart.
-
Specify the properties you want to use/show in the chart.
-
Choose to include related properties in the chart.
-
Filter the data set of the chart.
-
Customize the display of your chart.
Regardless of which chart you pick, Applaud sets responsive rules automatically so that the chart looks great on mobile, tablet, and desktop. See our article, Analytics.
We have enhanced our user experience design by making the first field in a form in focus when you open the page.
Improved the contrast ratio on the rating field for a clearer distinction between selected and deselected
The default color for ratings was too dark and made it really hard to differentiate between the set rating and the max rating. Therefore, we have improved the contrast ratio on the rating fields so that it is easy to see the set rating versus the available scale.
To make sure that the Call to action block is responsive however you customize it, we have made sure this works on many regularly used browsers and on different screen sizes. See our article, Call to action.
