We have enhanced the email verification option when editing a form field to prevent fake or mistyped email addresses. We have made this available to only users with the Tenant admin and Experience designer roles. See our knowledge base article, Edit field.
To ensure that your users understand what system they're being invited to, we have refined the wording in invite emails to include the Applaud tenant address.
We have stopped automatically sending the notification when you assign or revoke roles so that your users aren't bombarded with notifications when you assign or remove multiple roles and aren't confused by technical role names. You can control when you notify users when you assign or remove a role using a Send notification workflow action. See the Send notification section of our knowledge base article, Workflow action dialog.
We have renamed the Trigger Webhook workflow action to "Trigger integration." You can now choose to add a webhook or a Workato Applaud integration recipe. See the Trigger integration section of our knowledge base article, Workflow actions.
We have enhanced the task detail views to make them a bit clearer and fast to action so that your users can work more productively.
We have added a new option to the Create task workflow action, Notify assignee when created. When you select this new option, Applaud sends the user a notification when a task is created and assigned to them so they can act on it immediately. See our knowledge base article, Workflow actions.
We have added new options for experience designers under the Task actions section on the workflow action details dialog box so that when your users select a task to fill out a form, they are taken directly to the form rather than having to select a link in the task detail. See our knowledge base article, Workflow actions.
We have added new functionality to our chatbot function so you can define the message that the bot sends to your users. You can use the expression builder to compile your message so that you can use dynamic content.
Note
The chatbot functionality isn't fully available yet. We will publish our knowledge base articles once the full functionality is available.
So that you can add a chatbot to your HR platform, we have added new functionality for you to add and configure a chatbot. You can choose when the bot opens the chat window and engages with your users. You can define the phrases used and questions asked.
Note
The chatbot functionality isn't fully available yet. We will publish our knowledge base articles once the full functionality is available.
To give you greater control over what applications you give access to, we've removed the Sites setting section on the global Settings page and replaced it with a new API keys page. We've added a new API keys item to your Admin home page. This is only available to users with the role of Identity Manager.
You can specify the URL address or the application's IP address that you want to give access to data in your Applaud tenant. See our knowledge base article, Application API keys.
To make it easier to understand the workflow and recognize particular nodes, we have added icons to each workflow node.
We have added a new function where you can create, view, and install configuration templates. See our knowledge base article, About templates.
We have added a new Templates feature so you can copy the configuration from one tenant to another. See our knowledge base article, Create a new template.
You can view and manage your templates from the new Templates area in your Applaud tenant. See our knowledge base article, Templates.
We have added new options to the Properties when adding an analytic block to a page so you can create charts that show aggregated data. See our knowledge base article, Analytics.

We have introduced the ability to view a workflow’s process history. A handy tool to ensure the workflows are behaving as you would expect and troubleshoot problems if not. You can see in-progress processes and those that have failed. You can drill-down into the process action and troubleshoot any issues. See our knowledge base article, Review the workflow's process history.
