Chatbots
Global settings
On the Bots page, we've added a new GLOBAL SETTINGS option, which opens a new Global settings dialog where you can customize the name shown to users when they're not signed into Applaud and add a custom disclaimer to appear to users when they're not signed in. This dialog also shows the code to embed all bots on your third-party site. See our knowledge base article, Configure chatbot global settings.
Generative AI bots
We've added new options to the Bot dialog box when adding a new chatbot, so you can configure a chatbot that can use generative AI, which can provide answers to questions and help users.

Chatbot analytics
We've added an analytics page to show you how your chatbots perform. We've changed the Experience Insights option on the Admin home page to Analytics. When you select this option, the Experience Insights page opens, but you can then navigate to the new Chatbot analytics page. Bot-to-bot integration
We have introduced new APIs for chat messaging, new Workato actions, and new audit and error handling. You can read more in our knowledge article, About integrating your AI chatbot with other providers.
Chatbot channel for Applaud on Oracle
Within the new Chatbot Global settings, we've added a new attribute to the chatbot widget code so you can pick the tenant name from the on-prem root API.
Workflows
Generate text workflow action
We have introduced a 'Generate text' workflow action, which allows workflows to create text for nudges, summarize content, and check the relevance of knowledge articles. See our knowledge base article, About the Generate text workflow action.
List blocks
AI-Recommended sort
We've added a new AI-recommended sort option to list block settings.
You select this new option and select the Sorting feature, adding your sort option, too:
Then your sort option appears to the user with a new Recommended for you sort option selected by default:

Tone of voice
We've added a new setting to Your Brand page, Tone of Voice, where you can enter the voice you want your brand to have. See our knowledge base article, Create a new brand.
